YSL Reverso 70s vintage watch

The watch presented here is the Yves Saint Laurent "Reverso" from the 1970s. The vintage watch measures a beautiful 21x35 mm case in 18 carat gold.

At first glance, the simple dial design reminds one of a Cartier watch.
There is no brand logo on the enameled dial, and the design is understated and not too assertive. But you can see beautiful design elements like the "Paris" on the bottom of the dial.

The reversible case function is the coolest feature of this watch. You can dress it as a watch or like a bracelet.

The minimalist and sophisticated design, which is one of the charms of this watch, can be worn with any clothes and on any occasion.

Yves Saint Laurent himself was one of the famous "Tankists" who loved Cartier's Tank. This watch is probably from the period when Yves Saint Laurent himself was designing it.

Today, due to patent restrictions, only JLC would be able to produce this type of watch. This is a watch that could only have been made in this period.

This is in line with the period when Cartier made their own Reverso. It is well known that Cartier asked Saint Laurent to be a billboard. It´s supposed that Cartier was heavily involved in designing this watch!

The dial shows slight vintage aging. The case is in beautiful condition. The YSL has been serviced recently!
