This special Cartier Tank Louis that I am offering is the extremely desirable pre CPCP (Cartier Paris Collection Prive) Tank Louis on Grain de Riz bracelet in 18 carat yellow gold. The watch is in perfect unpolished condition and comes in FULL SET from 1992, meaning Box, Papers.
CASE & BRACELET
It features an 18k gold case measuring 30mm x 23mm, a modern and sensible size. The watch is the extra plate version which means it features the mechanical hand-wound movement powered by the legendary Frederique Piguet caliber 21 and is just 5 mm thin. Overall, this Tank Louis is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and has its original edges and curves. The vintage watch comes with the original 18 carat gold beads of rice bracelet which is called Grain de Riz at Cartier. The watch fits up to a 19 cm wrist.
DIAL AND HANDS
The original guilloché flinque white dial is in clean condition. The dial also features the time period correct “Swiss” stamp at the bottom. In addition, the hands are made of blued steel and complement the crown, which is set with a blue sapphire cabochon.
