A special limited collection of French Paris watches were produced in the late 1980s. Each case is individually numbered, like this Tonneau.
The dial has "CARTIER PARIS" written on it, which later became "CPCP".
This is one of the historic vintage watches.
CASE & BRACELET
It features an 18k gold case measuring 26 x 46 mm, a modern and sensible size. The mechanical hand-wound movement is powered by F.Piguet. Overall, this Cartier Tonneau is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and has its original edges and curves. The vintage watch comes with the original 18 carat gold pin buckle and Cartier strap.
DIAL AND HANDS
The original guilloché flinque white dial is in perfexr condition. The dial features the “Paris” stamp In addition, the hands are made of blued steel and complement the crown, which is set with a blue sapphire cabochon.
