This special Cartier Tank Louis that I am offering is the extremely desirable pre CPCP (Cartier Paris Collection Prive) Tank Louis in Platinum. The watch is in perfect unpolished condition.
CASE & BRACELET
The platinum case measures 23mm x 30mm, a modern and sensible size. The mechanical hand-wound movement is powered by the legendary Frederique Piguet caliber 21, which makes the case just 5mm thin. Overall, this Tank Louis is in excellent condition. The vintage watch comes with the period correct 18 carat white gold deployant folding clasp on original Cartier leather strap. Showing the case back sticker, the watch indicates almost unworn condition.
DIAL AND HANDS
The original guilloché flinque white dial is in perfect condition. The dial features the time period correct “Swiss” stamp at the bottom. In addition, the hands are made of blued steel and complement the crown, which is set with a blue sapphire cabochon.
